The farmers in this section are taking advantage of the snow by hauling their wheat to town and their tobacco to market.

Mrs. Sarah Nixon and daughter Ruth, who have been visiting friends here, have returned to their home in Pennsylvania.

John Hickenbotham has sold his farm to Berton Griffith and will move to Belmont county in the near future.

Mrs. James Devaul has been visiting her two daughters in Belmont county, but has returned home.

Herod Holtsclaw is busily engaged at hauling stone for the erection of a new house.

E. S. Taylor, our merchant, visited the New Castle oil field Friday.

William Morrow and family of St. Louis are visiting at Isaac Price's.

Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Taylor visited friends at Altitude Monday.

Mrs. Mary Rutter of Bellaire is visiting relatives here.
