Lonzo Piatt, Ed Mach, Albert Gardner, Alfred Piatt and Mr. Fisher have gone to West Virginia to work in the oil field.

Elmer Ullom returned from West Virginia where he has been employed in the oil field for several months.

John Black has returned from Bruin, Pa., where he has spent the past three weeks with his parents.

Bettman & Watson expect to commence drilling well No. 8 on the Lohr farm.

The Klondyke Oil company is re-building the rig at the Allen No. 1.

The Carter company is down about 600 feet on the Hill farm.

J. B. Henderson passed through here on his way to Sistersville.

Joseph Ridgway was in Sistersville selling his oil last week.

A. G. Johnson spent Sunday with his family in Sistersville.

U. C. Proper is pumping on the Hoffman farm.

W. P. Simmons has returned from Cameron.
