I'm trying to connect my gr gr grandfather David Tiner (Tyner) of 1840 Tuscarawas Cty with the David Tiner family living in 1840 Monroe Cty, Sunberry Twp. In addition, there was a spelling change in 1850 and the Monroe Cty Tiners became the "Teners". This same spelling appears in subsequent US Census reports. My gr gr grandfather changed his name to "Tyner" when he left Tuscarawas for Wood County in the early 1840's. Does anyone have any other info on these folks?

I am searching for help with determining the parents of my gg-grandmother Angeline MELLOTT (b. January 1863, d. 19 July 1927) who married Joseph FOUGHTY in November 1880. Still hoping to hear from anybody that might have some information on Raymond JONES and his descendants. He lived on a farm in the Woodsfield area and died stateside during World War II. His son Donald was my grandfather. Donald moved to Zanesville during his lifetime and became a barber and real estate agent.
