(Alexander, Jesse B., Moses W., Ben F., Sarah, Absolum N., James W., Joseph T., John P., and
Tasy Jane) were probably born in Loudoun Co., VA. After they
settled in Monroe Co., OH, Mary WILSON had 5 more children (George W., Tamer N., Samuel S.,
David L., and Olive) and Mary died on 12 December 1846 in Monroe Co., OH. After
Mary's death Absolum DENNIS married Mrs. Jane LOCKART and had 2 to 3 more children (Lemuel,
Albert, and possibly a Stephen). The last child Stephen could also have been Absolum DENNIS'
grandchild. I descend from Lemuel DENNIS,
son of Absolum DENNIS. Lemuel DENNIS married Hannah Loretta WINDLAND and had several children.
They moved back into WV and settled in Jackson and Kanawha Counties. One of these children,
